Description

For the best performance, always use Portable Winch Co. ropes with your winch.

Double braided polyester rope (DBP): its double-braided construction makes it durable and features low stretch for increased safety. Its low cost and resistance to abrasion make it a good choice for using with our capstan winches, where it is subject to friction and intense heat.

Comes with splices with galvanized steel thimbles on both ends. They provide protection against wear caused by carabiners, shackles and hooks installed at the end of the rope. In addition, a splice keeps nearly 100% of the rope's capacity, unlike a knot, which reduces its capacity by at least 30%.

Splices at both ends of the rope also allow it to be flipped over from time to time so it wears out evenly on its entire length.

Ideal to use with the portable capstan winches PCH1000, PCH2000 and PCT1800.
