This winch support is specifically designed for vertical pulling with the PCH2000.

Equipped with an adjustable shelf, it offers a solid and stable support allowing to properly sit the winch.

It also features a removable V-shaped pulley mounted on ball bearings, providing optimal rotation. This pulley redirects the rope vertically with an angle in order to reach sections of towers or pylons away from the center. To install the rope, simply remove the "T" handle and the pulley, thread the rope and put the handle and pulley back in position.

Note that this support can also be used for horizontal pulling; in this case, the pulley will not be used.

In all cases, it can not be used alone; it must be combined with other accessories in order to be used. Refer to the chart of anchorages for winches (pdf) at the bottom of this page to visualize the combinations of accessories that can be done with the PCA-2264.

Thus, the PCA-2264 will be combined with the following accessories to perform horizontal pulling. In these cases, the winch will face the load and the rope will be in a direct line towards the winch.

If combined with the following accessories, it will be used for vertical pulling. In these cases, the winch will face the anchor point and the rope will come from the top to the winch.

Paul Begin, Victoria Harbour, Ontario, Canada

« Speed of 26’ per minute (8 m/min) was a key consideration, and not having to "reverse" feed the wire back out. »

« As a union electrician in the San Francisco bay area, I feel I am an expert on using winches. Yours is the best I've run. Your company has met and far exceed my expectations! I'm proud to have a tool flying the great maple leaf of the north! »

John Frey, San Francisco, California, USA

« I've used the winch already several times (for pulling charges) and I'm so pleased with it. Easy to use, smooth motor (one pull and it starts), flexible (any length of cable/rope) and I can use it everywhere. I cannot live without it anymore! »

Jan Wouters, Brussels, Belgium

« I bought the PCW3000 2-1/2 years ago for our remote cottage, knowing that I would need it. This weekend (September 2018) we used it. We had a tree blown down and hung up on other trees. It was still attached to the stump. It was dangerously close to a small outbuilding. The winch allowed me to pull the tree off the others and away from the building easily and from a safe distance. We were then able to drag it out and cut it up. I couldn’t be more pleased! »

Peter Jacobs, Toronto, Canada

« We had a great day getting a moose out of super hard to reach spot. It "only" took us 8 hours... But without the Portable Winch we would have got to the cabin totally wasted. Thanks to your great product! »

Martin Bourque, North Eastern, Canada

Testimonials - David Wheaton

« Here are a few of the logs we have stacked up using our winch. Most are between 50 and 70 feet long and some are as big as 27" on the stump. I’ve never had a product that impressed me that much in my whole life! I am blown away by this winch! At first, I hesitated about buying the skidding cone, but I am glad I did: it’s the best thing ever! Logs can climb up the pile with the cone on. »

David Wheaton, Mapleton, Maine, USA

Testimonials - Pete Paskevich

« I got a PCW5000 a couple of years ago to help retrieve downed oaks and maples (70 - 80 ft) in a heavily forested area (90%) and a ravine. Wow! Getting trees that would have rotted. The winch let's me pull out downed trees without having to clear areas for my tractor. Hasn't missed a beat in performance and reliability... and I am working this thing! »

Pete Paskevich, Stuarts Draft, Virginia, USA
