Description

The High-Speed

The PCW5000-HS is the winch with the highest pulling speed. An outstanding ally! For work requiring more speed than capacity, such as cable pulling or optical-fibre
cable installing.

Design

Based on the same successful design as the PCW5000, the PCW5000-HS is built with a gearbox optimized for speed. Thus, at 36 metres per minute, it can pull loads three (3) times faster than its predecessor, making it ideal for smaller loads over longer distances. In addition, the winch's capstan drum concept allows users to pull loads over an unlimited length of rope, without loss of power, in a simple, effective, and safe way.

Performance

The PCW5000-HS develops a pulling force of 350 kg, without mechanical advantage. By adding a pulley system, you can go up to five times (5x) the pulling force. That means, with two double pulleys, you could pull up to 1,750 kg!

Tim Ruggerio , Hadley, New York, USA

« We have used the winch for a few weeks now and are very impressed with how it is able to pull out the wood for us. It is a great solution for a wood lot with no access for traditional equipment. »

Paul Begin, Victoria Harbour, Ontario, Canada

« Speed of 26’ per minute (8 m/min) was a key consideration, and not having to "reverse" feed the wire back out. »

Kenneth Hixson, Novi, Michigan, USA

« We needed a winch that we could use for any purpose, anytime, anywhere. »

Global One Engineering, Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

« As a union electrician in the San Francisco bay area, I feel I am an expert on using winches. Yours is the best I've run. Your company has met and far exceed my expectations! I'm proud to have a tool flying the great maple leaf of the north! »

John Frey, San Francisco, California, USA

« I've used the winch already several times (for pulling charges) and I'm so pleased with it. Easy to use, smooth motor (one pull and it starts), flexible (any length of cable/rope) and I can use it everywhere. I cannot live without it anymore! »

Jan Wouters, Brussels, Belgium

« I bought the PCW3000 2-1/2 years ago for our remote cottage, knowing that I would need it. This weekend (September 2018) we used it. We had a tree blown down and hung up on other trees. It was still attached to the stump. It was dangerously close to a small outbuilding. The winch allowed me to pull the tree off the others and away from the building easily and from a safe distance. We were then able to drag it out and cut it up. I couldn’t be more pleased! »

Peter Jacobs, Toronto, Canada

« We had a great day getting a moose out of super hard to reach spot. It "only" took us 8 hours... But without the Portable Winch we would have got to the cabin totally wasted. Thanks to your great product! »

Martin Bourque, North Eastern, Canada

Testimonials - David Wheaton

« Here are a few of the logs we have stacked up using our winch. Most are between 50 and 70 feet long and some are as big as 27" on the stump. I’ve never had a product that impressed me that much in my whole life! I am blown away by this winch! At first, I hesitated about buying the skidding cone, but I am glad I did: it’s the best thing ever! Logs can climb up the pile with the cone on. »

David Wheaton, Mapleton, Maine, USA

Testimonials - Pete Paskevich

« I got a PCW5000 a couple of years ago to help retrieve downed oaks and maples (70 - 80 ft) in a heavily forested area (90%) and a ravine. Wow! Getting trees that would have rotted. The winch let's me pull out downed trees without having to clear areas for my tractor. Hasn't missed a beat in performance and reliability... and I am working this thing! »

Pete Paskevich, Stuarts Draft, Virginia, USA
